Default Had to put the dog down today

My hunting buddy of 13 years. Took him on a lot of trips. And he retrieved a ton of geese. Rest in peace buddy. Thanks for the memories.

Sorry to hear that. That's the unfortunate part about dogs, they're lives are so much shorter than ours. I am sure you have lots of great memories to reminisce about and that is always a good thing.

Gooski, I'm very sorry to hear about your dog. It's one of hardest things anyone has to go thru. I always keep one of my dog's tags in my blind bag. It makes me think of him or her and I feel like they are still on the hunt with me. Sorry once again Gooski.

Sorry for your loss I had to put down both of mine within 9 months, it just about killed me! I feel for you my friend, it isn't fair that they don't die when we do.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Gooski. I've been there too, more than once. My only consolation is that I do believe that one day I will meet with up again with all my dogs for a grand hunt when my time comes. It will be one of those days where all the geese decoy perfectly and every pheasant holds for the pointers, and this old hunter's shots will all ring true. Oh ya, we'll have a great time when that day comes!
